Children and Youth
Participating in the Christian Education Program for three year olds through fifth graders your children will:
- Learn the stories of our faith as told in scripture and connect these stories to their everyday lives as models for Living the Love of Jesus Christ
- Build self-confidence as they practice living in loving relationships with others based on the biblical values of patience, hospitality, trust, forgiveness, sharing, caring and cooperation
- Actively participate in a variety of hands-on mission opportunities as they learn to care for others
- Be active in the worship and daily life of this congregation
Mid and senior highs have a great place to meet that is all their own – the Youth House.. 6th through 12th graders enjoy a variety of activities – including Bible study, some fun and some service-oriented. These opportunities encourage youth to explore their faith and put it into action. As a group, they choose activities like snow tubing, the Koman Cancer Walk , trip to Cedar Point, mission trips, Focus Hope food deliveries, laser tag, bar-b-ques, or sleepovers at the church. Each fall and spring they go on retreats to discuss issues of importance in their lives and how their Christian faith can guide their decision making.
