Youth
At Northbrook we learn about each individual, personally. More than just knowing names, we know likes and dislikes, opinions, sense of humor, even favorite movies and YouTube clips. Our mid and senior high programs are educational, fun, and personal!
The Youth develop close relationships with the adult team and Youth Director, Ken Stetson. Our commitment is to be involved in students’ lives, rather than seeing youth who just stop by once a week. We attend school plays, sporting events, movies, tutoring sessions, and hit coffee shops, all because we believe that Jesus’ example of discipleship shows us that we walk together.
Friends are always welcome, but you don’t have to know anyone to feel a part of the group. Email Youth Director, ken@northbrookpc.org for introductions or a ride.
Mid and senior highs have a great place to meet that is all their own – the Youth House, where the kids can make the space their own. 6th through 12th graders enjoy a variety of activities and study that encourage them to explore their faith and put it into action. Each fall and spring they go on retreats to discuss issues of importance in their lives and how their Christian faith can guide their decision making.
