The theme for our stewardship campaign this year is: love looks like… a commitment to give. We are excited about what God has in store for us here at Northbrook in 2025, and we ask you to make a commitment to support these ministries in the new year. We hope we can count on your financial commitment for our 2025 ministry budget. Please fill out a Pledge Card and return it to the church office by Sunday, November 10th. We are so grateful for all the ways you support Christ’s ministry here.
Join Rev. Dr. Andy Morgan from First Presbyterian Church of Knoxville for a thought-provoking Zoom session on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and faith. This class provides a unique chance to explore how A.I., particularly generative language models like ChatGPT, can be understood and applied in a faith-based context. No technology experience or prior understanding of AI is necessary.
Northbrook’s ADVENTure program will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 9:30 – 11:30am. Join us for Advent crafts, music, snacks, and more! Ages 3 and above are welcome. Invite a friend or neighbor to join in the fun. Sign up in Fellowship Hall or RSVP to Becky in the church office at (248)642-0200 or becky@northbrookpc.org.
Poinsettias are available in red and white and cost $11 each. Dedications will go in the Christmas Eve service bulletin. For more information or to order by phone or email, contact Becky in the church office at (248)642-0200 or becky@northbrookpc.org. Orders are due Sunday, November 17.
Starting November 17th, our Angel Tree will be decorated with paper Angel tags detailing gifts of clothing and toys, as well as food, household, and personal items which will be donated to the Baldwin Center's Holiday Store. Participating in the Angel Tree is simple: select Angel tags from the tree, purchase the desired gifts, and/or food, attach the angel tags to the items purchased, and place the unwrapped items under the tree by Sunday, December 8.
